Willie Buck stands in the tradition of classic Chicago blues with a sound shaped by the cotton fields of Mississippi, the clubs, the workingman’s grit, and the emotional truth that defines the genre. From the deep roots of Mississippi to the heartbeat of Chicago blues, Willie Buck has carried an authentic sound across generations and across borders. Honored as a Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Master Blues Artist and often recognized for his link to the tradition of Muddy Waters, his career has taken that unmistakable blues voice from South Side clubs to audiences around the world.
Jose Luis Pardo was born in Buenos Aires, March 17, 1981. Altough nobody in his family was a musician, he was always surrounded by music and at the age of 16, he started playing in the pubs and blues clubs of his hometown. This was the beginning of a journey that would later take him to the best blues spots in the world. The talented musician has already toured Memphis, Chicago, New York, Florida, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Portugal, France, Colombia, Mexico and a numoerous other countries. He has several CDs and one DVD pusblished and he is one of the privileged guitar players from South America endorsed by legendary guitar company, Gibson.
