The German producer and composer Armin Sabol is regarded as one of the most talented guitar players in Southern Germany. Besides his remarkable guitar skills he and Peter Schilling were the ones writing one of the most popular and successful German songs of the 80s – “Major Tom”. The single emerged as a worldwide smash, and MTV played it in heavy rotation. Several hits followed such as "Die Wüste lebt", "Terra Titanic", "Fehler im System" and "Hitze der Nacht". But solo he’s cutting a fine figure either by presenting passionate Rock songs, seeming electronic New Rock tunes and even driving Country melodies.
