RIP LEE PRYOR is the son of the late Chicago Blues Legend SNOOKY PRYOR and was raised deeply connected to the Blues Tradition, he’s also very much his own man musically.
NOBODY BUT ME is Rip Lee’s debut recording for Electro-Fi Records, where his Dad recorded from 1998 until his passing. Rip Lee has been making a real name for himself with his solo live performances. The winning mixture of original and classic Blues on the album showcases his distinctive vocal, harmonica and guitar work to great advantage.
Rip Lee Pryor is the subject of a feature article in the Feb. 2014 issue of LIVING BLUES Magazine and “NOBODY BUT ME” may well be considered the best Traditional Blues debut of 2014.
