It is evident where they're from in the opener “Sweet Home Cologne”. A nice soulblues, in which Astrid lives up to her reputation as 'blond lady with the dark voice' immediately. “Two Steps Forward” is a nimble swinging song with a nice guitar solo by Philipp. The next song “Ghost Town” is built on a funky bassline. The pretty organ- and guitar solo give some relief in the otherwise grisly character of the song. A mean sounding guitar, a threatening voice “remember your last shirt” are the beginning if the almost nine and a half minute long “Your Last Shirt (Won't Have A Pocket)”. A versitale song leading us through funk, rock and blues keeping you alert by its tempo changes and soli. My personal favorite. With “A Man For Saturday Night” the tempo goed up. The horn section provide a strong support and the exciting guitar solo make it a thrilling rock/soulsong. Especially the accompaniment in “Maria Knows Them All” make it a swinging song to which it is difficult to sit still. With “I'm Good” the blues is visited and with “Enough Is Enough” the funky rhythm is leading. This too swings likes nothing else. Astrid's soulful voice and the duel between guitar and organ make it one of the best songs of the album. A bit of rest with the beautiful ballad “Broad Shoulders”. “All I'm Saying” is a happy tune with a nice melody, but evidently a threatening text. Don't get this lady angry! With the last song I think for a moment that accidentally a track of Deep Purple landed on the album, but not true. I admit that “The Habit I'm Trying To Break” is a strong song that later on does remind again of the old rockers, but it is undeniably Get The Cat and it is a fine song to close this album. ~Eric
