Barrelhouse Bob Page is one of a rare breed of piano players. Influenced by such greats as Fats Waller, Otis Spann, Albert Ammons, Professor Longhair and Pinetop Perkins, he manages to create songs with catchy hooks and lyrics in a unique style that infuses rock, blues and swing.
Known for his heavy left hand rhythms that were trademarks of the “Barrelhouse Era”, Bob has performed with many legendary artists such as the late Muddy Waters, James Cotton, Dave Mason, Tom Rush and John Hammond.
He has also worked festivals and arena sized concerts with internationally acclaimed rock bands such as The Georgia Satellites, where his fingers burned up the 88 keys on his piano in front of thousands of happy fans.
