Bobby King was an obscure Chicago Blues guitarist/singer in the 60s and 70s. This is a great release, recorded "live" in some Chicago Blues joint. Bobby's singing is soulful, his guitar-playing top-notch, the band tight, and the audience loose. Sadly, Bobby succumbed to a heart attack a year after this recording. If you like raw (in the good sense) Chicago Blues, recorded on it's home turf, this is the CD for you. ~John B. Ivey
