To be honest, I'd be a bit happier if the album review wasn't written by the musicians themselves: "multi-talented, excellent, outstanding, awesome, prolific, gifted, killer, essential discs, master axeslinger, perfectionist who reaches for the stars, world-class" and so on. Too humble. Now come on, folks...

I completely agree with you George. What is stated in the post is not a review but the Label release notes.
I added a independent review that only confirms what was said in the release notes but not with all that adjectives.
Myself, I don't care much about what the reviewers say. In many cases they are paid to do it and they only write good things about it. Same to the release notes. Nothing like we do our own review. And, in my opinion this is one of the best Rory tributes I have listen.
And I agree with you too, Bluestender. The most reliable reviewer is our own ears. And, as regards this certain album, the musicians are fine indeed. Mind you, I'm not implying that something is wrong with the Collective's reviews. I'm just hinting at what we might call a slight exaggeration on the part of the release notes' writer. And, once again, cheers for Azzul's Collective!
