I’ve been writing and recording blues and jazz-styed tunes since 1998; in ten years, I’ve completed six collections of originals, with songs played and applauded world-wide. My latest CD is “One Woman Blues”, which is – yes, blues. Here’s some feedback from previous releases:
“It takes a special artist to allow the listener into their very personal space. Zoe Chilco is one such artist. I have returned to her …for both my jazz and blues shows time and time again.” Robin, Australia.
“Over the last few several weeks, I’ve been promoting this blues cd on my radio show. I love this cd; it’s a great album.” Bertwin, The Netherlands.
“Some first rate blues. It has received (and will continue, from time to time, extensive airplay on my show, ‘Blue Trane’. Robbie, Australia.
“Just listened to the blues cd and the first tracks were nice and bluesy; rest assured they will get airplay”. Al, USA.
For francophones:
“Le coeur de Zoe Chilco balance entre le blues et le jazz. On la decouvre adepte de ces deux climats musicaux. » Salvatore, Belgium.
« Great music, I really recommend this artist! » Gustavo, Argentina
“Your discs are full of so many wonderful ‘stories’ and grooves; I’ll be featuring both on my Thursday evening show ‘Cool Jewels’. Mitchell, USA
“I played the blues version on the air tonight and it really was great. Wonderful vocals, great feeling!!!” Larry, USA
On the release of 'One Woman Blues', Maple Blues Magazine writer John Valenteyn placed the collection in the top 20 blues releases of June, 2008.
