This is a great album from one of the best blues guitarists and singers currently playing. Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges plays the blues like he was born to it (and is also a brilliant showman). This album from 1998 captures him with a backing line up of piano, bass, drums and organ, playing an excellent set that draws on inspiration from BB King and Sam Cooke among others.

Thanks Rooster. Hope you had a nice weekend.
You're most welcome Happymonk, glad you enjoyed the post. And yes, I did have a great weekend. Attended a blues festival where mr Bridges performed and he put on a great show together with a good backing band from Sweden. Thanks for your comment.
I saw him in Montreal at the jazz fest free show back about 15 years ago, and as I recall, he and the band were feeling no pain so he was a bit scattered, but everyone was jumpin'!
Please could you re-up this album. thanks.
